![]() My opinion might change with more explanation or later story developments but I feel like this last big fight has just been ass-pull after ass-pull on both the villain and Deku's part. The Start of Fall 2023 Survey Results See what everyone's looking forward to this season!Ĭheck out the Fall 2023 user flair options! Visit to pick one for yourself. I feel like certain side characters in the fight that have a lot of experience got jobbed in favor of Deku just because he's the MC. Then the peanut gallery were like "oh yeah we can do something to help too"). I understand the story explanation, I just prefer when shows use supporting characters better against an enemy and while I'm fine with the main character obviously being the person to finish things off, I don't like it when literally all other characters seemingly can't do much or anything (there was a scene in the most recent episode where around 5 people, including pro-heroes, lost all thought processes and just watched the fight going on before another character shows up to help. Without spoiling anything, there are some pretty major fights going on this season with big consequences and those have been great but the "main" fight has made me feel like Deku is just becoming like Goku in that he has to defeat the villain because reasons and is going to get power boosts or new powers when the plot demands. I thought this season was amazing up until the last two episodes. This subreddit supports Spoiler Tags!
